College Time!!

Finally, my vacation is about to get over. College's 'bout to start in a couple of days. A new academic year. a new beginning. And the worst thing, results will be out in just no time.. Huh. Anyways, looking forward for a great academic yr coz of two reasons.. One, coz I am going to be in my final yr and two, I will be done with my under grad soon. Whoa!! cant believe I am already this big!

But its time I gotto get ready for yet another tightly packed yr full of papers, projects and presentations!! And oh... EXAMS!! Haha.. so see ya guys soon. Until then, have fun!! Live life to the fullest people.. SAYONARA!

Vacation in the Mountains!

Coming to how I spent my summer this year, I should say it was AWESOME!! First few days of my vacation went in realizing that I was done with my exams and finally it was time for a break.. Hehe.. spent time with friends, books, music, LOST( for people who don't know, its a TV series, a brilliant one) and ANIME!! Did I mention that anime is fascinating??

In mid-may, I went on a holiday with my parents.. Been to shimla-kullumanali-chandigarh. Beautiful places, all of them. Wasnt that cold, but a relief from the hot, humid and sweaty weathers of hyd.. The best thing being in hill stations, you are away from heavy traffics, dirty roads, pollution and crowded people.. Shimla and Manali are awesome places to be seen. One must visit them. They might not be as beautiful as kashmir is, but they are no less. Nature is at its best in these places. And guys...guys... guys!!!!!!! I went river rafting in river beas.. BLOODY BRILLIANT!!! OMG... it was breath taking!! I guess I should seroiously think about it as a main sport!! Hehe...just kiddin'. But believe me people... it was just brilliant!

Coming to Chandigarh, did you guys know that it is the first ever planned city in India?? Wonder why the roads are awesome there? Greenery everywhere... thats the reason. Its no small city at all.. got huge malls, many beautiful parks and dont forget the Mohali Stadium.

Hey btw, I had been to kurukshetra too. It is supposed to be the site of the kurukshetra war, described in the Mahabharata. Kurukshetra is of great importance as this is where the Bhagavad Gita was taught to Arjuna on the battle field by Lord Krishna, just before the great battle.. I saw the evidence too, the tree under which the Geeta was taught. Its leaves are never allowed to fall on the ground. Hence, the tree is all fenced. Marvellous place!!
On the whole, it was a great memorable experience.

P.S: Read "The Three Mistakes of My life" by Chetan Bhagat. Yet another rocking novel!! It is actually 'Five Point Someone' part deux. Except that, the guys arent from IIT's and are business partners based in ahmedabad.

Another hype, IPL!!

Finally. IPL thingy is done..PHEW!!! Btw, sorry couldnt blog all this while. As I said, may be it was this IPL thingy that kept me busy besides my books, music and friends!!
When it comes to cricket -which is the unofficial national game, every person is a diehard fan. INSANE!! Why is IPL such a hit? Because India's two leading attractions, i.e. bollywood and cricket merge??? What is it all about?? BIG money...and a drama every week?? Huh..sounds stupid. But still, it was successful in attracting people. I guess I should accept that I am also quite a big cricket fan. But now, I need a change. Eagerly waiting for EURO2008... After all, its time we accept that, these days, cricket is no gentleman's game and football is better compared to it..
